Whirled is largely a place where the players have the power to regulate their own experiences. If someone is bothersome, players can do these types of things:

  • Remove the person from their friends list
  • Block the person or an overly spammy pet
  • Boot the person out of the room
  • Move to a different room
  • Set a room so that it only accepts the player and their friends
  • Create a private game table and invite only friends to it
  • Bleep offensive or annoying items
  • Delete an offensive or unwanted comment from their profile's Comment Wall.

However, sometimes one may need to report behavior and items that violate Whirled's Community Standards or Terms of Service.

Reporting a player

If another player in the room where you are is violating Whirled's Community Standards or the Terms of Service, that player may be reported.

  1. Make sure that the player is really doing something that violates the Community Standards or Terms of Service. It's not ideal to report someone who is being irritating but is not truly breaking the rules. For example, you should not report someone who is wearing an avatar that you simply find unattractive.
  2. Ask the person to stop the offensive behavior and let them know that they can be reported for breaking the rules.
  3. If they do not stop, click on the player and select the "Complain about this player..." option from the menu.
  4. A box will appear in which you can provide a short description of the reason for your report.

After submitting the report, nothing further need be done; the report will be sent to the Agents for review.
