Talk:Multiplayer server based game (ActionScript tutorial)
From Whirled
This page title is way too wordy. --Aduros 08:33, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Article names don't have to be short. They just have to be descriptive in a way that people searching for them can find them. In the case of tutorials, since there are so many (and more planned I'm guessing), it's better to be a little more wordy than to leave the user trying to guess which term might reveal the tutorial. --Equinox 14:42, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. In the wiki world, it's nice if article names are slick and concise, but it's often necessary to be more verbose. --Agent Vortex 15:23, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- "(ActionScript tutorial)" is superfluous, let's put the article in Category:Code_tutorials and avoid the noise. (Edit: Sorry, by "avoiding the noise" I meant the trimming title, not about being a jerk about ending this discussion. Just tossing in my 2 cents, it's what talk pages are for right? :) --Aduros 18:02, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
