Laws and Disorder is a game where the players make the rules. Different player roles have different special powers.

Instructions from the Game

Instructions:

When the deck gets to 0, the player with the most monies wins. Coins payout is cascading.

Every job has a different power:

  • The Thief - steal a card
  • The Priest - change a blue card in a law
  • The Trader - draw two cards
  • The Banker - change a pink card in a law
  • The Judge - enact a law
  • The Doctor - add or remove a purple card in a law

You can do each of these once per turn:

  • Drop a blue card onto your job description to change jobs.
  • Click "use power" to use your job's special power.
  • Click "create law" to make a new law.

Some examples of legal laws:

  • (The Thief) (Loses) (2 Cards). When you click "create", whichever player is The Thief will lose 2 cards.
  • (The Banker) (Gives) (The Judge) (2 Monies). When you click "create", whichever player is The Banker loses 2 monies, whichever player is The Judge gets 2 monies. If there is no judge, The Banker just loses monies. If nobody is The Banker, nothing happens.
  • (The Trader) (Gets) (3 Monies) (When their turn starts). Nothing happens when you create this law, but at the start of every player's turn for the rest of the game, if they are The Trader, they will lose 3 monies.

Some confusing stuff I still need to clarify:

  • Click the screen to start playing.
  • If you create a law that causes someone to lose cards, you have to wait for them to pick which ones before you can do anything else.
  • There is no "Gives" card in two player games.
  • In [The Thief] [Gives] [2 Monies], since "Gives" has no target, The Thief gets to pick which opponent gets the monies.
  • The Priest has to drag a blue card onto a law and drop it when over a subject such as "The Trader".
  • Likewise The Banker drags pink cards onto verbs, but can't switch a "gives" to a "loses" or "gets" if there is a subject after it.
  • The Doctor has to click on a law to remove a purple card.
  • To select an opponent, click on their scroll to the right
