Scoring
Classic
Score the points labeled on the sub when sunk. If you are struck by a mine, your score is cut in half. At the end of the game, a 30 point bonus is given for each ship sunk.
Extended
The game will still begin with 2 minutes.
You will earn more time per 500 points in your total score. However, this means the mines are more painful. You must continue to drive your game score to the next increment of 500 points to earn additional time.
Example: You have just crossed 4000 total points. You will earn more time at 4500 points. If you are struck by a mine, your score is quickly reduced to roughly 2000 points. This means, in the balance of time you have remaining, you must score another 2500 points to reach the goal of 4500 points.
To make matters worse, the mines become MORE magnetic as you earn more bonus time. Go ahead, try and run...
This extension to the Classic version may allow you to earn higher ranks. To activate Extended mode game play, you must purchase the item pack for Extended Play.
